About Me
Hello!
My name is Nicole, but I like to go by Nikusha. I'm 19 years old, and have an unquenchable thirst of wanderlust. I've lived in San Diego and Los Angeles; I'm currently living in Moscow, Russia.
I've traveled all the United States, visited Bali and Russia, and now I'm ready to explore Europe! I have never traveled to any country in Europe, so this is extremely exciting for me.
I'm an artist - two things I can't travel without is my notebook and pen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friends and I will be traveling through Europe, and I would love to see the city through a non-tourists perspective. What's better than a backstage pass to the hidden wonders of the world?

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book, as of right now, is definitely Bagombo Snuff Box by Kurt Vonnegut. It's filled with a bunch of his short stories, which are all so captivating! Definitely a must read if you like a range of themes.
One of many favorite quotes would be by Vladimir G. Korlenko in his book, The Shades, A Phantasy; "My sting pricks your conscience and arouses you when you are caught napping. Sleep not, sleep not, ... awake and seek the truth!"
My favorite music really depends on my mood. I can go from Alt-j to Death Grirps, to Bauhaus, to Exodus. When I say that I like all types of music, I mean it! I'm always open to new music.
Some of my favorite movies would be Pan's Labyrinth, Idiocracy, and Pulp Fiction (how could you not list this movie).
I think Adult Swim is filled with masterminds. One day, I want to intern with them (maybe even work with them) - I've got a few ideas of my own.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one?!
If I had to pick, it would be living a life I love - past, present, and future. This trickles down to everything I do in life, while includes, but is not limited to, spontaneously deciding to defer from college and living in Russia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to think I've lived a lot, but I acknowledge that's naive.
To help my cause, your life experiences would be the education someone like me needs. We may find that we are much more similar than we think! I would love to uncover the enigma of those around me because shallow conversation is never beneficial, nor is it much fun.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Living with my grandma, I have come to learn some traditional Russian cuisines! It would be wonderful to explore dishes - our taste buds will surely thank us.
I will also help around the house: gardening, cleaning, or simply changing a light bulb!
