About Me

Hey, I'm Nicole. I'm traveling through Turky right now in search of new friends that can show me some interesting places and also teach me the language! (my level in turqish isn't very high) Actually, I think any place gets interesting if you're there with an interesting person and if you can eat figs with them (I love figs - incir)
I get lost very fast and my sense of direction is terrible. Until now, I am happy that I am a very lucky person - no car has ever swooned over me. If you're also traveling and not living in Turkey, you can probably teach me traveling tips (its my first time traveling alone)
My favourite colour is something between green and blue, I write a lot of stories (and I'm studying creative writing!). I'm always up to learn new things. I'm not dangerous (the most dangerous thing I can do is get lost),so you can trust me. Also, I can talk alot. When I will learn more turqish words, I will talk a lot in turqish. Right now it' s more me touching things and being like 'bana ne'. I like music, drawing and arts, so we can do music, arts, writing, performance dance (we could dance our names or I could dance the word that I dont know in turqish and you tell me what you think it is that I am trying to convey to you and thats what I will call the thing Ive been dancing), lying around and thinking aloud, swim in the sea! (its always good to have a person with you to not drown, and to be merry and have fun) or actually do any cultural turqish activity that there is actually to do or - whatever cool thing comes to your mind (lets go to the rooftop of a building, museum of puppets, or - - - (you fill in the blanks))
I'm sorry if I'm too complicated, it's actually easy, I'm open to everything and everyone and don't have mobile data until now so let's meet up at an easy place I can find (and hope there's fig trees around!) :)
Btw. I'm from germany, Leipzig, I speak english, french, german. Biraz Türkçe konuşuyorum.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interesred in getting to know new people. I feel like connecting with others makes your world richer in taste.
Also I need a home when I'm traveling. And I will give people a home when they're traveling.

Interests

I love living and conveying living into words. Sometimes that collides (in the time I write things that happened down I mostly cannot experience new things)
Mostly trying to catch up to live by talking and understanding others and their modes of life.
Doing things, lots of things. If they dont make sense, its best. Lets have fun

Music, Movies, and Books

Klaus Johann Grobe, Floh de colonge - music, mac de marco, Liebesleben - Zeruya shalev (book), the last music piece ive really enjoyed is Epp tide by Robert Maxwell on the harp (not the orchestra version, its too rich) - seems like a soundtrack for happiness almost too full to be real.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The water in Leipzig underneath the moon, going to swim in the Cospudener See while it rains, the energy in the air before a big storm starts (as if each single molecule of air was living and vibrating abd the colours changed and wind blew the leaves of the ground and made sounds in the trees, all the humans trying to catch shelter wheb actually this is the place where something happens, maybe the feeling of it being the only time where there is a place I need to be without any possibility of there being another at this moment.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook food. I can show you the city (right now, I live in Leipzig - but I will move to Hildesheim, so we could check that city out together)
I can show you old buildings, spätis, we can party together, we can swim, you can probably sleep on my bed and I'll sleep on the ground or the other way around.
