About Me
Hello,
my name is Nicole, I was born and been living most of my life in Prague, which is lovely European capital city full of vibrant life, beautiful spots to hangout and eat and you can find any cuisine there. One of the reasons I appreciate Prague so much.
I have been always attracted by different cultures and cuisines. Currently I am oriented towards Italy, which I am visiting in last 4-5 years.
I have decided to pursue career in research, in marine biology field. I am finishing my second BSc. studies at this moment and been accepted in the joint-university International Masters programme IMBRSea. Before that I studied Economics but let's say I burnout quickly as it didn't merge with my inner values which were always oriented towards nature since I was a child. So in the end of my MSc. studies I decided to quit, few years been wandering through life to find my inner call. I have applied for the BSc. in Applied Ecology in 2020 and in May 2023 I am finishing my first part of the path.
I had the opportunity to participate in Erasmus+ Internship in Monopoli, Italy in 2022. I worked for the diving centre, where I took my OWD certification the previous year. So I am switching towards diving career which will be better aligned with the scientific diver who I want to be.
My interest is oriented on mesophotic coral ecosystems, deep dwelling benthic organisms in depth bellow 30 m up to 170 m.
Apart from that I have a dog, she is my companion and princess on the move with me all the time. Her name is Keira and I will always prefer to have her by my side. I also have a cat Triss, but she is living with my parents as cats are not the best animal for constant changes. :-)
I used to play videogames, currently I am watching people playing as I don't have the nerves and much time :-D I used to play in a band which is the reason why I hosted bands from around the world in my home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to couchsurf and help other travellers in my 20s, unfortunately I lost the access to my account so I seem as a new member now. I visited UK and Germany with this app and hosted mainly bands touring and few couchsurfers from around the world.
Currently I can't afford to host anyone as I don't have a space for it and I am moving a lot.
My previous profile is here, but I can't use it as they hacked my FB profile and I don't have it anymore :-(
