About Me

Hey :) I'm a Chemistry major at University who loves to adventure and find unique places. I am super low-maintenance and just love to get to know other cultures - either through visiting them myself (even though I havent had the chance to do much) or having people from other places visit me. I love both science and art, like to avoid aggressive topics (politics mostly) and just love to get to know people; Feel free to message me if you need a couch to stay on or if you're just in the neighborhood and want to hang out - but just to let you know, I'll be wanting to discover new things in DC more than go to places I've already been. You up for getting lost in the District?

I live on the 3rd floor and there are two elevators, so that's a plus. I can only offer a bed for one that will be in the same room as me (unless i tell you otherwise when my flatmate is out of the country) but you can feel free to use the kitchen and bathroom as you please when you stay!

NOT TAKING GUESTS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To discover new perspectives on life, the world, and travel; also to make new friends, try new food, and take as many photos as possible to document my life. I ultimately aim to visit all 7 continents and as many countries as possible through my life.

I hate feeling like a tourist and so want to find the best way to 'go native' :)

Music, Movies, and Books

>Indie, Alternative, Electro, Folk. I'll listen to anything that either has a great beat or lyrics I can connect with

>I love all movies pretty much but a few of my favorites - Fried Green Tomatoes, Amadeus, Under the Tuscan Sun, The Matrix, Guardians of the Galaxy, Indiana Jones (all of them except for the crystal skull), Star Wars, Aladdin, and so many more. I'm currently obsessed with all things Wes Anderson.

> The Alchemist, How to Kill a Mockingbird, Kite Runner, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Life of Pi. I'll read anything once, but will only reread ones I really enjoy.

PLEASE SUGGEST MUSIC/MOVIES/BOOKS! <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-sea kayaking
-threw my phone onstage at a Macklemore concert (not a huge fan of him, though haha) and he took a picture on it that went viral on Reddit. Pretty cool, I guess.
-scuba diving in the cayman islands when I was little
