About Me
My name's Nicole and I've been on a mission to see the world since 2014!
I grew up in Scotland and lived and worked in Edinburgh before I got bored with corporate life and wanted to see more of the world than the destinations that Ryanair fly to! I decided to take a risk, pack my bags and teach in South Korea. I've now been here for almost 3 years and am about to head on an indefinite backpacking trip around Europe and Latin America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I love conversing with locals and learning about new cultures. I believe that Couchsurfing gives travellers a much deeper opportunity to immerse themselves into the countries culture than hostels and hotels. I love sharing bits of my own Scottish culture too and am happy to teach you lots of Glaswegian slang and might even show you how to make a deep fried Mars Bar!
Interests
I love yoga, reading, watching foreign movies, cooking, writing, learning languages, running, hiking, kayaking, cycling and almost anything that involves being outdoors!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have quite a varied taste in music. On the one hand, I love minimal techno and deep house. But, I also like more chilled stuff and a lot of old Indie music. Some of my favourite artists at the moment are James Blake, Bob Moses and Connan Mockasin.

I am an experienced and certified teacher of both yoga and English. I'm more than happy to give yoga classes to other couch surfers and to help anyone out with their English!
