About Me
Hiii everyone! My name is Nicole. I am a dancer living in south Florida. I love music, dancing, art, food. I am super down to earth, pretty laid back. I hate having plans, I would much rather just go with the flow. I live pretty close to the ocean so I spend a lot of time just sitting down there. I live a pretty active life style (dance, yoga, exploring the outdoors) I love new things, and I love to try things. If we meet I expect to learn something from you or would love to try something new :)
As much as I loveeee hosting I am extremely picky about who I accept. As a safety precaution for myself, I will not host if you have no references or if I feel uncomfortable for whatever reason. I will only host people who are as careful about choosing a host as I am about accepting surfers. If you have made it this far, so I know that you actually went through and read my full profile please put in the top of your message "Yellow Elephant" (yellow is a great color and elephants are my favorite animal!). That way I know to take you seriously and that you actually went through and thought about who to stay with :) please continue to read through my profile and maybe we will be able to meet!
420 and LGBTQ friendly of course
I do smoke in the house FYI #420
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people; traveling is a plus but the people is what makes the experience special. There's something about finding comfort in a complete stranger that I find very beautiful. I also love to learn things from new people, an art, a language, your name, anything!!
My goal with couch surfing is to travel all over the world. I know this is totally cliche and why everyone is basically on here but for real, thats my only reason why. I have chosen a career for myself that benefits my mental state more than my pocket, and I am perfectly okay with this. But because of that I can't afford to travel and stay in hotels. Couch surfing has made traveling and seeing the world possible. Plus I would rather see the area from a locals view than pay the hotel to make something up.
Interests
I am a dancer/ dance teacher so that's basically what I do most of the time. I teach all styles but I dance tap and contemporary on my own. I am really into music and try to go to shows when ever I can. I grew up in the suburbs next to the woods and five minutes from the ocean. So if I'm not tapping or planted at the beach; hiking and walking trails is how I spend most of my free time. I also love trying new restaurants, bars, and cafes; small little ones are my favorite :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Currently the most amazing thing I've experienced was my first couch surfing trip. My best friend and I decided to jump on a plane to Florida with no place to stay, no money, and zero idea on what to do. I had previously heard of couch surfing from an article on buzzfeed or something. With no where to go I figured this was a great opportunity to try it out. After landing in Florida we found a place to stay and rented an electric car and it was serendipity from there. I had never been so inspired and fulfilled by strangers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to dance, make you food, and try to make you laugh!
If you get sick of me, the beach or down town Fort Lauderdale is about 15 minutes away. You will need a car or uber arrangements as I’m not walking distance to many things.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahamas, Canada
