My main target in life is to stay positive and happy. During my lifetime I have no intention to save for anything boring like a mortgage or something bigger or better in the long term future. I instead think that money and time should be spent immediately, mainly on good causes such as travelling and a lot of food!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing attracted me as a perfect balance of engaging with and experiencing different cultures, and socialising with new friends. I intend to hopefully make some unforgettable memories and stories I will remember for the rest of my life! Since finishing University in September 2017 I went on a four month trip around Asia before starting work (boooo) and used couchsurfing a couple of times to meet up with locals/other travellers, and had a great experience! Therefore I plan to continue to use couchsurfing.

Interests

My main interests in life are learning, travelling and eating!

I love to learn new things, and this is the main reason I have high ambitions for my future, coming straight from A levels to an undergraduate university degree, and plan to extend my education with a post graduate course, possibly in global health.

Generally I always like to try everything at least once, and see myself as an open minded person who is always willing to take on new opportunities. Even if you love one food or place, you never know if you'll love the next even more!

Music, Movies, and Books

The very first thing most people find out about me is my huge love for Eminem! I have been obsessed with him since I was very young and even woke up at 5am to be at the front of the queue for his appearance at Leeds festival, and also travelled all the way to New York to see him again!

Unsurprisingly, one of my favourite films is 8 mile. Other than that, I enjoy the odd film or book however do not spend much time engaging in these activities as I find sitting around a waste of time and get bored easily! I like to be active in my spare time and engage in sports, education and socialising!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would like to think that while caring for women in labour during my midwifery career that I've helped to make it a positive and unforgettable experience. Along the way I have assisted, alongside other medical staff, in saving a few babies lives!
