Overview
About Me
Art/English teacher from Australia. Due to be travelling Europe with my best friend and fellow teacher Nicola O'Leary.
I love good rock'n'roll and even bad rocknroll. Sunsets, sunrises and ambience filled photographic opportunities are among my favourite moments, followed closely by the first sip of beer. Cause, who can beat that?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to travel through Europe in 2017 (mainly Italy) as cheaply as possible, due to being horribly poor and having an overactive sense of adventure.
Couchsurfing not only allows you to travel cheaply but the BEST PART is the opportunity meeting new and interesting local people who can share their unique knowledge about life in their home town.
I hope one day to exchange the favour and have many people come and stay with me in Brisbane or Sydney (depending on where I'm going to live - not sure yet).
Interests
Art, literature, history, culture and language.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Abseiled down a waterfall and into a canyon in the Blue Mountains, NSW.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you with your English, with your Spanish and Nicola is a history teacher who would love to get into an in depth conversation with you about anything to do with Italian history.
We are both high school teachers (of art, history and English), so we are very patient and understanding. We are lovers of knowledge and would be happy learning just about anything about roman life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm pretty crafty and I follow instructions to a 'T', so I'm good with any DIY jobs. I'm also happy to decorate your home with artwork if you'll let me. I also like to think I'm generally a fairly good conversationalist despite my handicaps (I have a stutter).
Countries I’ve Visited
England, Indonesia, New Zealand, Spain
Countries I’ve Lived In
