Overview
About Me
Hey my name is Nicole! I'm currently living in Lyon, France but I'm originally from Chicago, Illinois. I really enjoy listening and learning. I'm always down for a coffee or a beer and a good conversation. I'm also a very open minded and go with the flow person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing so I can travel around and experience different places through the life of a local. I'm only here till June so I want to make the most of my time and meet new people. I enjoy being immersed in different cultures, it really creates an open mind. I wish I could host but I'm currently being hosted by another family while I'm studying abroad! But once I return to the states and have my own place I will for sure be returning the favor.
Interests
I love being outdoors and walking around barefoot. I'm always looking for new trails to hike, new parks to visit, and new outdoor activities to try. I really enjoy baking. I'd like to think I make a mean banana bread.
I really really love dogs. They fill me with such happiness and they are all so cute and content with life. I miss my dog Petey so much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked Angels Landing in Zion, Utah. It was extremely scary but the view was worth it all. I remember seeing the foot wide trail and the chain link railing, I was scared out of my mind. But I am so glad I did it. This experience really paved the path for everything I'm doing now. Now I have the mentality of 'just do it, you may never have this chance again', it may sound cliché but it sure is true.
