Hello! I'm Nicole. I grew up in and went to college in New Jersey, and now live with my boyfriend Ray, in Philadelphia, PA.

I've been dating Ray for a little over a year. We met through mutual friends who all love dancing Salsa and Bachata around Philly! We both also enjoy long walks on the beach (no JUST KIDDING, lol) ... We both enjoy photography, we love to cook and EAT great food, and wine, from all different cultures.

I graduated in May 2014 with a degree in TV/film and Journalism. I work full time as an assistant video editor for a Fox TV show called Chasing News. We cover local New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia news. The style of the show is a mix between nightly news & TMZ, and airs on My9 and Fox 29 weeknights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a burning curiosity about whats out there in the world, what different cultures are like, how other people live, etc. My best friend Crista is studying abroad in Rome this semester, and we are planning to meet up in Madrid, Spain the first week of June! We want to couch surf rather than stay somewhere else because we want to make new lasting friendships with people while we are visiting. We want to share stories and experience with them.

I love meeting new people, sharing stories and learning about their every day lives!

Interests

I love good music, dancing, siging, etc. I took dance lessons/competed throughout my years in school. I enjoy knitting, video editing for fun in my free time. I love listening to LIVE music or going to see musicals or dance shows.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a big personality. I'm talkative, silly, and easily amused and excited :) I'm totally a "Jersey girl"... grew up going to the shore on the East Coast of the USA.

I LOVE the city of Philadelphia, great clubs for dancing salsa, great brunch spots, Cafes, fun nightlife and exciting seasonal festivities.

Growing up I visited New York City during the Holidays. My parents, sister and I would take the train from Ne w Jersey to see the big Christmas tree and ice skating rink. We also saw many Broadway shows and the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. Those are great memories. New York City is an amazing city, vibrant and full of life!
