Hi, we are Nicole and Pietro from Italy.
In 2018 we decided to leave our job and we started traveling. We went from our home to Singapore by land, without flying, in 7 months. We went through Russia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malesia and Singapore and we enjoyed this experience so much that now we feel the need to travel the rest of the world!
Now we live in Iceland some months per year and the rest we travel and the latest places we visited have been Sri Lanka and Morocco.
In 2023 we visited Latin America for 5 months, crossing the Amazon River and discovering many different and interesting cultures between Peru, Brasil, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.
Now we have 2 months to visit Nepal, Bangladesh and a bit of India for the first time.

I( Nicole) speak Italian, French, English and Spanish and I'm now studying Icelandic and Portuguese, I love to get to know foreign cultures. My boyfriend loves dancing, he teaches break dance and he’s really good in painting and drawing. We’re really friendly and easygoing. We also have a page where we share our adventures called “Ricordati il Giacchetto”, which means to remember your coat, typical mum’s phrase before leaving the house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’re on Couchsurfing because we want to be in contact with local people, to be in contact with the real culture and costumes of the place. We love to make friends, to share experiences of life and to learn new things.

We really love music. I prefer english music, Pietro italian’s. We love reading books and Pietro really loves films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We bought a motorbike in Vietnam and we drove all the way through Cambodia and Laos. We also hitchhiked all Borneo from east to west for an entire month and it's been just INCREDIBLE!

We love to share our culture and all we learned while traveling and we would like to learn something about yours. We love languages, so we'd love to learn some basic words of your language.
We love food, we think we cannot understand a place without eating like locals

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook you some italian dishes in exchange of tasting something typical of your country. We love eating!
We can also help with chores in the house of course
