I'm a 25 year old student working towards my Msc Environmental Science in Freiburg, Germany. I'm looking to travel more around Europe and meet people along the way.

Things I'm always trying to do is hike and have a beer. Sleeping in a tent in the rain is probably one of my favourite things ever. When I'm in Canada, I try to spend a good amount of time getting lost in the woods and camping in the back-country. Now that I study in Germany, I want to explore Europe and get to know some of the old cities.

I'm vegetarian but also love to cook vegan. Open-minded, easy-going, feminist, and lgbtq. A relaxed dinner with friends sounds as good as a night out. I love to travel and meet new people but am also happy sitting by the fire and knitting a new pair of socks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty well all music, but mostly folk or old stuff. I like to play guitar and have some fun making music with friends.
I read a variety of books, I like Margaret Atwood, Ursula K. Le Guin, or whatever else is laying around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once while living in Alaska, an eagle came down in front of my canoe and snatched up a salmon. It isn't something amazing I've done, but I was around while this eagle was doing something amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to learn French and German and can make you a hearty vegan meal. We can go stomping around the woods together and boil up some tea, or chat over a coffee at your favourite shop.
