About Me
I'm one of those people that loves surprises and not knowing what comes next. I find people genuinely interesting because every one has a unique story. I did the 9 to 5 job (which I loved) and gave it up for a vagabond lifestyle 4 years ago. Home is now where my family and friends are, or as a t-shirt my sister gave me says, "Home is where you park it."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been meaning to Couchsurf much more on my own. I've surfed with a few buddies here & there and met some awesome surfers through Nashville buddies, but now it's my turn to try it out for myself. I've worked at a few hostels too, but I've found that I prefer the more personable connection possible through staying with a specific host. The few times that I've Couchsurfed have been some of the most intentional & eye-opening experiences yet. Hoping for more!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music--I'm open to anything and never pass judgment on others musical choices. I love going to shows. Ya never know what sounds better live. I gravitate towards the indie electronic scene, but love it all.
Movies--The Patriot. The one with Mel Gibson and a life-altering soundtrack, not the one with Steven Seagal. Lord of the Rings (NZ, duh). I'd rather watch movies all day than binge watch TV shows...unless it's The Office or Parks & Recreation.
Books--Still learning to appreciate the art of sitting still and melting into a good book. But it's happened a few times, like with "Vagabonding" and "The Happiness of Pursuit". I'd like to read more about converting cars/vans/buses into rolling homes. I'm all about that #vanlife.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2017 I finally "took the plunge" and received my solo skydiving license after years of working in the sport. I'm not a terribly active jumper, but I occasionally dabble and hope to incorporate more into my travels.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach & Share: For 3 years I've been a North American & local Tour Guide, so I've traveled pretty extensively around the ole' US of A. I've also made it a point to live in a couple cool spots including NZ , Aussie, Puerto Rico, Nashville, New Orleans, Chicago & San Francisco (and I'm not ready to stop any time soon). I've worked at a ton of music festivals and in the skydive industry. Happy to share anything about these experiences and hopefully learn more from my awesome hosts.
Learn: I strive to learn something new every day. Life gets pretty boring if you're not learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Silly stories and light-hearted sarcasm hopefully over a bottle of wine and a healthy meal....with dessert shortly after.
