I'm dealing with the travel bug in the best way I know how... always have the next trip in mind. I made the decision to travel solo for 3 months in Europe to do things a bit slower than any group tour could show me. Also I love to take a moment when it comes to beautiful nature areas, reflect on how lucky I am and capture a photo to remind myself when I'm old and grey that I got out there and lived. I am constantly battling with the need to be organised and research everything versus the awesome feeling of just going with the flow. I think couchsurfing is a great way for me to meet hosts who can show me things I'd never find out researching.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In researching hostels all over Europe for my first solo trip, I find there are some cities which don't seem to have a good hostel vibe to meet people. I would love to see cities from a local perspective and have fun and a good laugh with my host.

Hopefully I can offer my host a chance to get away from normal everyday life and talk about the differences and similarities in the world. I can share my experience of living in Sydney and outback country Australia. I can help cook or be a coffee & lunch or dinner companion.
