From Santiago, Chile. My favourite thing in life is traveling and meeting new people. I got a degree in English language and literature and I used to work as an English and Spanish ESL teacher in Chile, but now I'm based in France with the W&H visa for 1 year (or maybe more)... Here I live with a french family and I work as a fille aupair.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I live in Jouy en Josas, next town to Versailles, and even when the place is very nice and surrounded by a big forest it's very boring and there's really nothing to do, specially if you don't have a car, which is my case, and because I like meeting people, and I think couchsurfing is a very helpful and friendly place to look for people who have similar interests.
That's one of the main reasons why I'm looking for hosts in Paris and arround France. I'd like to make of this experience something really meaningful in my life so, I think that by meeting local people I can get to know the culture better, practice my french and share my culture and values as well.
I'm looking forward to make new friends, enjoy life and spend a great time with you ;)

Centres d'intérêt

I'm a very active person so I enjoy outdoor activities such as trekking, running, cycling, etc.
I also love dancing and in Chile I used to take flamenco lessons. I've been dancing flamenco for almost 5 years and It'd be nice to find a course in Paris or Versailles, so if you know one please let me know!
Another hobbie of mine is watching series and movies. Currently I'm finishing Narcos, The Crown and I've already seen House of Cards, Breaking Bad, How I met your mother and some others. I'm kind of geek because I like to comment the episodes of my favourite series.
Finally and as I wrote in my description, I'm very sociable. I like meeting new people and learn new languages or accents that I can immitate afterwards :P
Usually I hang out with my friends on weekends. I like to go to bars or restaurants and if possible, going dancing.

I love teaching and I think that my work as a language teacher is very rewarding as you can contribute to change or improve someone's life through teaching and help others to communicate in a different language.
What I love the most about being a teacher is that you're also learning, all the time! Now that I'm learning French I can understand my students when they complained about how difficult was English for them. It's not easy when you're thinking in three different languages but I really enjoy it.
I'd like to share my culture, teach my native language which is Spanish, but I can also help to those who are not very fluent, and want to communicate in English.
I can also teach you how to dance because I love it! hahaha
