My name is Nicole, I am 23 years old and I come from Turin, Italy even though I was born in Palermo.
I graduated in summer 2021 in languages and cultures, especially Japanese and German but I also speak English, Spanish, a little French and of course Italian. I am taking now a gap year as a volunteer for an NGO with the European Solidarity Corps program, that's why I am will be now living in Gdansk for 1 year. After this I was planning to go back to Italy to start my master degree, but life is totally random sometimes and I have found a job here in Poland, so I will be around more.
I am an introverted person at the beginning but then I am also a friendly and cheerful person, I really love to genuinly laugh. I am an open-minded person. I really love to travel and to take photos with my analogic camera, I also like to watch movies and go out with friends to drink.
Lately I am into climbing :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I signed up on Couchsurfing because I love traveling (also alone) and meet new people and I think it's a great way to dive into a new culture. Therefore I would like to know people from all over the world to discover and try to understand their cultures and their way of thinking.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I usually listen different kinds of music depending on my mood, especially indie, electro and ethnic.
Lately I've been watching way more tv serie than movies. I love The office and How I met your mother as sitcoms.
Sometimes I read, my favourite book so far is either Into the wild or On the road. I would love to do a road trip without any concern about the time, maybe an interrail or who knows (I love travelling by train).
Lately I started to meditate.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I adapt easily to any place and to any company so I think I could be a good company to go out. I could cook some italian pasta and food in general and bring with me some Polish specialties (since I've been living in Poland for the past 5 months) and of course I could teach Itailan!
