A girl that likes to travel and explore. I have duel citizenship in the USA and Australia. I am born and raised in Yuma, Arizona, but grew up traveling every summer because my mom is a teacher and had the same holidays and time off. I am from the desert and enjoy the heat, but also love visiting the snow. I lived in Italy for a month during a school study abroad trip for my first ever trip abroad without family. I studied Biology and Wildlife Conservation at the University of Arizona and then moved to England for vet school. I lived in London for four years while attending the Royal Veterinary College and tried to visit as many places as possible in between studying. Now I am living back in Yuma starting my new job, but that won't stop me from taking time to explore new places, meet new people, and try new things.
You can read my interests below, but I have played soccer all my life and enjoy a fun pick up game. I enjoy trying new foods and even learning to make traditional dishes and desserts. I love hiking and just recently started learning how to rock climb (though very much still a newbie).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a little bit of everything. However, I am partial to Country music because I love two stepping. Will watch any and every Disney movie, but I enjoy so many genres it is hard to choose. Just depends on the mood I am in. My go to movies to watch when I am sad are Weekend at Barneys and Rat Race. They make me laugh no matter how many times I watch them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on some reserves in Africa assisting with various veterinary procedures. It was such a surreal experience working with such large animals that close and charismatic species that I had only ever seen in a zoo before.

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a mean sweet potatoes pie and pumpkin pie. The Sweet potatoes pie is a secret recipe, but I can definitely teach some how to make a pumpkin pie haha.

I have traveled a few places and enjoy sharing my experiences with other travelers. I also appreciate local advice and recommendations to fully immerse myself into a place. While I do enjoy playing tourist, it is also fun to hang out with the locals.
