ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 something year old female who has recently fallen in love with travel! I like to explore and experience new things, so I would hope my host would love to show me around! I'm certainly no party animal, but I wouldn't say I'm a hermit either. I like to have a good time all around! I'm very excited to meet new people, see new places, and try new things!

I am currently traveling with my partner of three years, Francesco. He is a fun loving person whose interests include playing musical instruments (currently carrying a guitar, toy keyboard, and small tambourine), cooking, and bike riding! He's really up for most physical activities, as long as it's fun! Always trying to stay busy with a project, we are traveling with a veggie-oil fueled vehicle that he has created and maintained by himself! He's very focused on the environment, so he tries to lessen our carbon footprint.

Some of the things we enjoy the most are movies/TV series, animals, and EATING. Always ready to try new food, we are most excited for trying food that is from the region! We love to cook as well!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still trying to figure out what that is.. But my answer for now: "What goes around comes around."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A previous room mate of mine wanted to use couchsurfing.com for her five week trip to Europe, so we had someone crash on our couch for reviews. The couchsurfer overstayed his welcome, and certainly over stepped boundaries, but I'm not going to let one bad experience stop me from giving couchsurfing.com a try!

I'm a big reader, mostly novels and newspapers. I enjoy writing in my journal. I love to dance, so going to a show is always a fun experience. I love to swim, and I'm addicted to sunshine and green leaves.

Currently, Tom Robbins (Jitterbug Perfume and Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates in particular), Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones (the books and the show are so good!). I'm pretty much addicted to everything on HBO, like Sex and the City (guilty pleasure), and VICE.
I've been enjoying all sorts of music, but I'm currently on a funky soul kick. Lee Fields, Otis Redding, and the Temptations have been stuck in my head for days.

Friendship is a pretty amazing thing.. I would like to think I have seen a lot of love shared, as well as shared a lot of love.
