ABOUT ME

I love adventures in any size, shape or form. I used to work at bead/hemp stores back in the day, I was a canoe wilderness trip leader, and then I started teaching overseas. I'm just finishing six months teaching kindergarten in Thailand, after four glorious months traveling through New Zealand and a year teaching on Jeju Island, South Korea. WOO.

I'm very much into music (mostly electronic...drum and bass and minimal deep house), festivals, good coffee in the morning, nature, outdoor pursuits, painting and making things, kids because they are so strange and hilarious, good stories, stars, campfire.. sigh.. and i would much prefer to just chill rather than get too hectic.

I think that life is what you make of it! I enjoy meeting people, and experiencing new things!

I did a little couch surfing a few years ago in China and hosted some people in Victoria BC... but it's been a while since I've participated actively and I'm looking forward to getting back into this amazing community of travelers and like minded people!
