About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world and learn its cultures

ABOUT ME

I am a free spirirt and an independant thinker. I see myself as a calculated risk taker...I love adventure but like to be smart about it (especially when in Africa or the Middle East). I see myself as a pragmatist who is down to earth and can chat with anyone and be comfortable.

I love to learn about our world and its different cultures, this drives me to travel, engage in humanitarian work and strive to make things better at all levels.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem!!!
Be the change you want to see in the world.
You can never have an adventure if you don't take the first step...

Music, Movies, and Books

I read anything but victorian era style ....
A good history book and a documentary make my day.
I love all music but techno (which is only ok in some dance clubs) but absolutely love Bonga and Reggeton.
In terms of movies I think I am a fantasy nut..Harry Potter, LOTR (but I prefer the books) I also enjoy a good story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have kissed a giraffe, pet a zebra, ridden a camel, lived with a lizard and been bitten by a tarantula.

I have lived and finally evacuated a warzone and want to return.

I have also seen snow in Africa!

Teach, Learn, Share

-Never forget your sunscreen when traveling into the desert
-Bring your bathing suit when evacuating a warzone.
-Listen to the locals...they can help you
-Always try to learn the language
-There is nothing you can not do
I wish i knew how to...
Scuba Dive, write poetry and keep a diary
