About Me

I'm a very energetic and relaxed person all at the same time. I love to laugh often and I embrace new experiences with open arms. I love to share and learn and I ravel in all the little joys life brings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I CS because I love to meet new people, I love to learn from others and share. I think CS give the opportunity to experience a country from a different view point than just the typical tourist side and to learn about different cultures.

Interests

I love any thing active and adventurous. I scuba dive, cycle, hike, sail, snowboard, surf, swim, mtb and like to skweez in some time for art and reading too :) I am also always keen to try new things.

Music: Little bit of everything - Indie, oldies, classical.

I don't really watch movies and have never owned a tv but I like the od documentary: Virunga, Art and craft.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well where to start :o I have experienced so many wonderful things and I try to see the beauty in every little thing I experience so it is hard to choose just one. Maybe bungy jumping from the blou kraans bridge in South Africa, or being chased by a water buffalo in Vietnam, spending 2 years in South Korea as a English teacher or cycling around Koreas ulleung island, diving in to the blue or just watching a gorgeous sunset. Every experience we have is unique and special and every day brings something new to enjoy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

From my adopted country South Korea I can share a lot of the local culture and things off the beaten track. I can also share insights of my home country South Africa for those who are interested. I also love to just share life and the moments and connection it brings.
