About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I spent the past year living in Tokyo, however I didn't have the chance to explore much of Asia during that time. I'm spending this entire year travelling, beginning in Japan (visiting friends!) then continuing on to Hong Kong, China, Taiwan... then I'm not totally sure where (if you have any recos, please share!!)... and ending in Europe for October through December.

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Nicole!

I spent the past few years of my life working in advertising, overseeing the production of ad campaigns for brands like McDonalds and Air Canada. While it was an interesting job, it admittedly wasn't a great fit for me. So, on a bit of a whim I moved to Tokyo. Why? Because it was far and foreign and different from anything I knew. I'm a curious person by nature, always trying to learn new things and grow my mind.

My past year in Tokyo was AMAZING, so I decided to spend this entire year travelling, moving city/country/continent every few weeks/months to learn more about different cultures and experience different ways of life! I love meeting new people, exchanging thoughts, ideas, and good stories over some food/drinks etc. :)

When I'm not on the road, I love to cook/bake (I love learning recipes from other countries!!), take on different art/craft projects, drink wine or beer, go hiking, read, see plays or musicals, listen to music/podcasts and discuss hypothetical questions at length :)
