ABOUT ME

After interviewing those I met through Boston CouchSurfing in 2008, I completed an undergraduate thesis on CS, and its members' varying beliefs about its transformational potential on society.

I've recently completed a doctoral project, which focused on 'The OT Role in Disaster Preparedness'. Always willing to exchange ideas with anyone interested in healthcare, community-based mental health, urban planning, sustainability, emergency planning, for more interdisciplinary collaborations! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I can't resist a good Kerouac quote:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I cannot host people at this time (due to lack of space, in a shared apartment.) But I'm close to Wednesday CBC meetups in Cambridge.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed on a few couches in Italy and western Europe, hope to host more people in the future! Have shared many great experiences with CouchSurfers in Boston.

Interests

Brainstorming about ways in which OT's can get more integrated in local, state and national emergency planning efforts. Looking forward to building more resilient and sustainable communities in Massachusetts.
