ABOUT ME

My nickname is 'the cat'. Not just because I love cats, but because when I was three I was convinced I was one. This means, that I believe you can be whatever you want and get wherever you want, if you are really determined to and believe in yourself. I have not become a cat yet, but I am now learning my job of social researcher, because guess what, I always wanted to be one!!!

Musically eclectic (classical music/death metal/ska/punk/80s/90s), I have recently discovered Swedish reggae and dancehall and it was love at first hearing.

However, my first and foremost commitment in life goes to my husband Martin and my duaghter Isabel (Piso), who put up with me daily and just for this would deserve a medal.

I believe in Jesus and I pray a lot, but have a conflictual relationship with organized religion and I haven't found a church I fit in yet.

I believe in equality for all, regardless of 'race', gender, faith and nationality. Support gay marriage and respect for all individuals, even (and more) if they are different from us, as we always have a lot to learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I could fairly say that my principles live my life for me. If by any chance I go against them, (say, working behind a desk for a big company trying to sell stuff) my principles make my life a hell. Never again.
I feel, and act according to my feelings, even (and utmostly) when they are totally irrational. This is why I got married a year after I met my husband, and I am perfectly happy two years on.

Sunset in Pedraces, Val Badia, during a rock festival (Badia Rock 2002). Will never forget when the mountains were painted red with the last light of day. Something everyone should see.
