About Me

Truly, if I knew enough about myself to fill up this blank space then I wouldn't be travelling.

Discovering myself by exploring the world.
Chasing my happiness & living the dream.

I'm laid back & don't sweat the small stuff, hell what bothers most people I don't even notice. Finding genuine people is like a lifelong treasure hunt for me. I love hearing alternate and raw honest opinions; you'd have a difficult time offending me.

If I'm in the area, lets grab a brew! Lets listen to some tunes! Lets share a roof and enjoy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To challenge the human connection and travel the world in a new, revolutionary way.

Interests

Being swallowed by nature, living vicariously through other peoples dogs, hammocking, Alaska and all of her majesty, painting and drawing when the creative bug comes along, night walking, {brews, friends, fire & tunes} (best together but individually they are also wonderful), whipping up previously unthought of meals and flavors, & not having a plan. I'm really not hard to entertain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was hiking the AC in Nepal, we were about 15 minutes from the highest point of our trek at 5416m. It was uphill, in snow, and damn near impossible to breathe with the exertion and high altitude. Behind me was a struggling Nepali boy whose name I don't quite remember, but is very similar to "poor lad". He was the porter for these two australians that were way too overpacked for a trek through the Himalayas, and poor lad had to bear the brunt of their burden. I asked him to stop and took out a squished half frozen snickers from my pack and offered it to him. Chocolate bars were pricey and highly desired in that neck of the woods, and his eyes lit up like a christmas tree. It was that little extra boost he needed to get to the top and relish in his accomplishment. It's the little things in life that makes the world go round.
