About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Grow, discover, and learn.

ABOUT ME

I am a girl with lots of energy, curiousity, and passion for learning. I have just finished my year abroad in Spain and I loved every second of it. I finished my year abroad with an interrail trip with my brother and had a fantastic time. We tried couch surfing for the first time and it was an extreemly rewarding expirience. The people we stayed with were so generous, open, interesting, and caring that they made us couch surfing fans. After my year in Europe I decided I couldnt leave so I am now teaching English in southwest Spain. I dont have any plans for next year, but I have a feeling I wont be heading back home to the United States all too soon.

PHILOSOPHY

"Consistency is the boredom of imaginantion"

"Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It is as if they are showing you the way."

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive climed the Inka trail to Machu Picchu twice in my life, been across sand dunes in the Sahara on a camelback, taken a 34 hour bus accross Bolivia, ridden elefants in Thailand, almost been stranded on the bulgarian/turkish border, eaten rasberry tarts under the eiffel tower, attempted to dance tango in Argentina, eaten my weight in food in Mexico, partied on the streets of Lisbon, ice skated on a frozen pond in Czech Republic (this is a really cool thing for a girl from southern california!), attended a Turkish wedding, survived my first real winter in Madrid, celebrated New Years in Salzburg, had wonderful conversation with strangers and Im always looking for the next adventure!
