Hi I'm Nicolette/Nico! I'm big into films, making friends, and living everyday with positivity. I'm always looking for new adventures that will take me to places I didn't anticipate. One great example is when I was in Cambodia and I tried instructing a tuk-tuk driver that we wanted to go to a mini-golf place that was designed to be a miniature Angkor Wat. Needless to say he didn't understand me, I ended up in the most rural place in Siem Reap on a bumpy backroad in this Tuk-tuk where the driver pulled over at a random house to ask the family there for directions. It was scary, nerve-wracking, exhilarating and not what I thought I was getting myself into. Next time, don't always believe what Google Maps says.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an avid traveller I'm always interested in new places and people. I also am a budget traveller so having the generosity of strangers extended to me is something I cannot appreciate enough
