ABOUT ME

I am a happy, smiling, laughing person who wishes to see the world and bring some sparkle everywhere I go. I enjoy great conversations as much as I love hearing stories. I prefer vegetarian food (but LOVE seafood) and love to cook for others. I love teaching art as much as I love creating it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have loved all the great people I have met while couch surfing. One great experience I had was while I was in Fredricton, New Brunswick. I met a great couch surfing host, Benjamin, and asked him to travel with me, which he did and we travelled together for about a week. I learned the fine art of hitch hiking, had great times and made a wonderful friend.

兴趣

Painting, drawing, glass blowing, hula-hooping, hiking, biking, chatting with friends, meeting new people, trying new types of food, drinking beer and tea, spending as much time outside as possible, gardening, teaching art to kids.

I am a huge fan of Edmonton's local university radio - CJSR as it plays so much different stuff - it is online if you want to enjoy a great radio listening experience.

I love so many books that I couldn't really say what interests me the most. I have recently fallen for historical fiction books. They make me happy.

Movies....hmmm...I love cheesy, silly, not scary horror ones, like Serial Mom, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Dead Alive, etc.

I have explored most of Canada and I must say that the beauty, quiet and solitude of the Yukon is more amazing than words will be able to express.

I can share stories, laughter, good food, great memories, and if you want to learn any type of art medium or handwork, I can share that too!

If you want to learn about Canada and where to go, what to see, and what to eat, I am your lady to ask! I decided to see as much of Canada before travelling abroad so that I could share detailed info on the country I was born within.

I have some great hoopin' skills, know loads of different art mediums, and I am a pretty good vegan baker.
