About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm currently a grad student in a Masters of Public Health program and loving every minute of it. I'm pretty easy going. I love hiking, camping, and solo drives to nowhere with the windows down and the music up. I'm really excited to do more traveling and to start doing some couchsurfing and hosting if I can.

PHILOSOPHY

A ship in harbor is safe, but that's not why ships are built.

Interests

Hiking, camping, reading, having intense philosophical discussions with my friends, binge watching Netflix when I get a bit of free time, road tripping, spending time with friends and family, swimming, kayaking

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2010 I studied abroad in England at the University of Cambridge. I had the opportunity to study at the best university in the world, explore several places in England (London, Bath, Oxford, Stonehenge) and I got to travel to six other countries (Scotland, France, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Switzerland) throughout the summer. I met some of the most amazing people I have ever known and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I spent Summer 2014 in working in Kenya evaluating a Community Health Worker program amongst the Maasai. After I finished there I went to Tanzania and climbed Kilimanjaro with some friends.
