About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to feel peace all the time, no matter what.

ABOUT ME

I am interested in everything. I am learning how to garden and cook. I am a writer and my dream is to write for National Geographic...keep your fingers crossed that I figure that out soon.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is lovely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As far as hosting, I am totally willing to drive you around, show you the sights, and feed you breakfast and whatnot.

As far as being hosted, I also love staying with people and getting to know new people. I prefer to stay sober and I try to be as respectful a guest that I can. I want every couch surfing experience to be something like a cultural trade, whether we are from different countries or just neighborhoods. I am excited to laugh, learn, and talk with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only met the most amazing people via CS. Thank you!!

Interests

I love music (obsessively), old movies, embarrassing dance moves, spicy food, eccentric people, and made up stories.

Recently, I have becoming very interested in belief. I want to know about what humanity believes in and what keeps us all moving onto the next day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: too much. A whole lot of The Rolling Stones, Years & Years, anything sincere, almost the whole 60s and everything.

Movies: Factory Girl, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Descendants, His Girl Friday.

Books: Franny & Zooey by J.D. Salinger

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in Malawi, playing with my niece, seeing my brother and sister get married, polka dancing with my grandpa, surviving heartbreak.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught writing while I was in college and I am available to help teach or practice English or help with writing anything.

I love cooking and will make you American dishes -- I know America is not famous for it's food but I will make you some American ditties!

I also sing, mostly the blues, but I sing none the less and would love to play music with you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Belize, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Jamaica, Malawi, Mexico, Netherlands

Countries I’ve Lived In
