ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Moving to San Francisco, California in November 2013. As everyone else on here, I crave to travel and explore unfamiliar and familiar places. I am low-maintenance, open-minded, ready to listen. Going to the cinema is one of my favorite past times. I enjoy taking film photographs, and being surrounded by creative people. I have an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies, and am pursing a new career in web development. If it isn't clear already, I have diverse interests and can't seem to devote my mental space to just one thing! I also do not eat meat or animal products, a very recent but fulfilling change.
PHILOSOPHY
Not an optimist, but trying to focus on the best of any situation and not dwell on the negatives.
Taking on each day one by one.
Slowly carving out a distinct self, trying not to get too lost in the big world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Haven't had the opportunity to host yet but I have surfed a couple of times.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed during my first exploration outside of the States and had a wonderful experience. Staying with residents of cities is the best way to visit a new place. Getting to experience everyday routines, meet locals, and exchange different ideas is wonderful.
In Copenhagen, I hung out in an old WWII bunker with my host and her friends. In Paris, I had no place to stay after my first night, and my gracious, super sweet host found me a place to stay through her many connections in the Parisian scene. CSers can truly be amazing.
