Overview
About Me
I'm a 20 years old guy grown up in Freiburg, southern Germany. I'd say about myself that I'm always happy, cheerful and fun.
Currently I'm on a big north america trip that started in June 2014. By now I spent most of the time in British Columbia, Canada where I was lucky enough to work with 120 sled dogs for more than seven months in the famous mountain town of Whistler. In spring 2015 I moved down to Vancouver for doing construction work and living the 'big city life'. But now it's summertime which means for me: travel time! Together with my friend Alina we're visiting the big cities of the east coast (New York, Montreal, Toronto...) by couchsurfing and travelling by trains and busses. Afterwards - back in the west - we're planning on doing a massive road trip down the US west coast! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest I still don't have any couchsurfing experience though I've been traveling for almost a year by now (cause I was able to sleep in my van everywhere). But on my east coast trip I'll be without the van so maybe you can be the first person who shows me the awesome community of couchsurfing ;) When I'll be back in Germany I definitely wanna host people to show them my city and whose lifestyle. I think that couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet nice people from all over the world, learn about other cultures and make an even better experience in the respective cities / countries.
Interests
I'm very interested in outdoor sports. Mounain biking (particularly Downhill) is my passion. But I also do a lot of snowboarding, hiking and kayaking. Part of all these sports is the love of nature but I love big cities too. I'm interested in photography, filming and writing as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Most of the books I read are novels that have a critical look on what is going wrong in our world.
My favourite movies are Inglourious Basterds and Into The Wild.
I'm always open for any kind of music! I listen to stuff from old school hip hop to rock. From reggae to electro. Everything!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survived a winter in Canada while living in a van and I have 120 four legged friends!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you in German (or just the swear words), skills on a mountain bike and share my travel stories with you.
We can laugh together about stupid jokes but also we can debate on serious themes.
I'd love to learn how to surf and climb and I'm interested in learning French and Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not the worst cook ;)
