Mi nombre es Nicolás, soy de Buenos Aires - Argentina y un amante de las bicicletas. Además de ser técnico en telecomunicaciones y haber trabajado de eso los últimos 14 años, soy bajista y fotógrafo, estos son mi cable a tierra cuando no estoy pedaleando. Lo que más me gusta en la vida es viajar, no siempre me es posible, pero cuando tengo la oportunidad lo hago. Soy un asiduo de las 2 ruedas, pero recién me estoy metiendo en el mundo del cicloturismo. Realizé solo un viaje largo, en el sur de la Argentina, y ahora estoy planificando uno a través de toda América.
Cuando estoy en casa, tengo disponibilidad de espacio (faltaría el aprobamiento familiar, pero seguro no hay problema) por si algún ciclista necesita quedarse en casa, hay colchón, cocina, ducha, patio por si quiere poner su carpa.
Estoy a 7km del inicio de la capital federal, no es poco ni mucho, pero es un dato importante.
Me gusta cocinar, me gusta la música y la historia, asi que encantado de hablar de esos temas, pero siempre estoy abierto a todo :)

UPDATE: En este momento me encuentro viajando desde Toronto - Canada hasta Argentina, empezando en Abril 2018, asi que espero cruzarme con muchos de ustedes :).

UPDATE 2: Desde principios de Enero 2023 me encuentro viajando con mi mama, recorriendo el bonito México.

My name is Nicolás, i´m from Buenos Aires - Argentina and i´m a bicycles lover. Besides being telecommunication and electronics ingeneer and been working on it for the last 14 years, I play the bass and am a professional photographer, they are my land lines when not cycling. But what i love more in my life, is to travel, it´s not always posible, but when i have the opportunity, i just do it.
I´m an assiduous to the 2 wheels, but i have started in the bike touring life in the last years. I only made one long travel in the south of my country, and now i´m planning one through the whole America.
When at home, I have availability of a place for staying for any tourer, have a bed, kitchen, shower, and a garden if you want to put your tent.
I´m 7Km away from Capital Federal, its more or less close, i think its an important data.
I love to cook, love music and history, so i´ll be very pleasured of talking about it or any other thing, love to listen too :).

UPDATE :) : Currently traveling from Toronto-Canada to Argentina, starting on April 2018, so i hope to meet a lot of you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Amo viajar y aprender de la gente, las costumbres, las comidas, sus historias, lo que sea que implique compartir! Viajar es hermoso, conocer lulgares nuevos también, pero no soy tan fan de lo turístico, y para encontrar esos lugares escondidos, no hay nada mejor que estar con la gente que allí vive!

I love to travel and learn from people, customs, food, their stories, anything that involves sharing! Traveling is beautiful, getting to know new places as well, but I'm not such a fan of touristy things, and to find those hidden gems, there's nothing better than being with the people who live there!

Interests

Me gusta mucho la música, y si es en vivo, aún mejor! Si pudiera iría a conciertos a diario :D. Tambien disfruto mucho de la fotografía, si puedo, te tomaré un retrato :P.
Disfruto mucho andar en bicicleta, pero cualquier tipo de deporte me llama la atención.
No me reconozco cinéfilo, pero siempre hay tiempo para una buena película, y si es con comida de por medio, el plan perfecto!

I really enjoy music, and if it's live, even better! If I could, I would go to concerts daily :D. I also really enjoy photography, so if I can, I'll take a portrait of you :P.
I love riding a bicycle, but I'm interested in any kind of sport as well.
I wouldn't call myself a cinephile, but there's always time for a good movie, and if there's food involved, it's the perfect plan!

Music, Movies, and Books

Para escuchar, casi que de todo, y para fiesta, casi de de todo también, últimamente siempre me relaja escucha ra Jorge Drexler.
Pelis también de todo, pero mis favoritas son las de Christopher Nolan, cualquiera de todas las que hizo.
No leo tanto como lo hacia hace años atras, pero ahora tengo un kindle, asi que espero ponerme al dia!

I listen to almost everything, and when it comes to parties, I'm up for almost anything as well. Lately, I find relaxation in listening to Jorge Drexler.
As for movies, I watch a bit of everything, but my favorites are the ones by Christopher Nolan, any of the ones he made.
I don't read as much as I used to years ago, but now that I have a Kindle, I hope to catch up on my reading!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Viajar en bicicleta desde Toronto - Canada hasta Cancún - Mexico. Me tomó poco más de añño y medio, donde conocí muchisimas gente y lugares increibles!

Nadar con tiburones ballena en el sur de la Baja California, sufrí más cuando el tiburón finalmente se fue, y me di cuenta que estaba solo en medio del profundo mar :s

Conocer a mi bajista favorito, Marcus Miller, de casualidad, en medio de un pueblito de Delaware. Siempre estoy en el lugar justo en el momento indicado :).

Cycling from Toronto, Canada to Cancun, Mexico took me a little over a year and a half, where I met many incredible people and visited amazing places!

Swimming with whale sharks in the southern part of Baja California was an exhilarating experience, although I felt a bit anxious when the shark finally left, and I realized I was alone in the deep sea :s

Meeting my favorite bassist, Marcus Miller, by chance in a small town in Delaware. I always seem to be in the right place at the right time :).

También algo de música, siempre aprendí por mi cuenta, asi que no se mucha teoría, pero me gusta aprender todos los instrumentos posibles!
Tengo muchas historias de mis viajes en bicicleta, como cuando me dió Dengue en Oaxaca, o cuando me corrió una jauria de perros en Kentucky :D.
Me gusta mucho cocinar, más que nada para otras personas, creo que es de las mayores demostraciones de amor.

I can teach you Spanish if you know English :). I can also teach you a bit about music. I've always learned on my own, so I don't know much theory, but I enjoy learning as many instruments as possible!

I have many stories from my bike trips, like when I got Dengue fever in Oaxaca, or when I was chased by a pack of dogs in Kentucky :D.

I really enjoy cooking, especially for other people. I believe it's one of the greatest demonstrations of love.
