Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hosted couchsurfers in Brisbane last year and are now making our way through Europe one couch at a time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have met some awesome people through hosting in Brisbane and have stayed with lovely people all over the world on our European trip.

Interests

Outdoorsy stuff - bush walking, camping,swiming, beaching. Also, food, wine, coffee and the culture that goes with it: reading, writing, exploring little niche cafes, art, music, theare, dinner parties.

We enjoy going to the local produce markets every weekend and sitting on the grass with friends listening to the buskers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many good things to have a favourite anything...
A variety of music from jazz to hip hop. Favourite TV at the moment includes The Amazing Race Australia, Game of Thrones, Californication, Downton Abbey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nic: I climbed Mt Sinai last year, in the dark, and watched the sunrise from the summit. I travelled South-East Asia alone when I was 20 and learnt a lot about a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nic: I know about getting to know places, in particular Birsbane. I am learning Spanish and would love to try to chat to a native speaker. I can share my passion for life, books, politics, people, places, travel blogging. I can share my travel stories over dinner and a drink.
