About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Zofia :)

I'm a computer science student at Warsaw University. I'm vegetarian.

I'm easy-going, open-minded and flexible. I try not to miss opportunities of doing fun and great things. I love to get to know the way the other people look at things. Travelling and especially couchsurfing really helps with that ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I live with my family so unfortunately I can't host anyone.

I visit people during my travels, if possible I try to acquaint them with polish food, sweets or vodka ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted Ha-yeob Song who is a member of couchsurfing but I knew him before so maybe it doesn't really count ;)

This summer I went to Switzerland with my friends and we found awesome hosts both in Geneva and Lausanne. It was very positive experience which definitively convinced me not to fear couchsurfing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I never find as much time as I would want for reading books. My favorites are Master and Margherita by Mikhail Bulgakov, Ferdydurke by Witold Gombrowicz and 1984 by George Orwell. Each of them changed the way I look on things. My favorite author is Vonnegut.

Films:
No Man's Land, Persepolis, a Serious Man, Fight Club, 12 Angry Men, Little Miss Sunshine

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Nerechta in Russia on a workcamp. With a group of other volunteers we painted fences to make the city prettier :) It was such a fun and most unforgettable experience. I met some awesome people from all around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some basics of computer science or web development. And I'm always open to new knowledge in that area ;)

I could teach to cook some vegetarian polish dishes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States
