ABOUT ME
I'm quite short, this always surprises couchsurfers, but I am also really fast.
I am a PhD candidate in Information Science. My research is focused information behavior of environmental scientists. I am fascinated by the way empirical research is conducted, disseminated and verified....but I believe it can be done better.
PHILOSOPHY
I dont believe in Beatles, I just believe in me

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The best, I've traveled all over the world with really exceptional people and been welcomed into their homes. It's a really lovely community
Interests
Science, building things, fixing things, vegetarians, coffee, crossword puzzles, hiking, running (I'm a marathoner) and I have an unhealthy obsession with professional cycling and bikes in general. If you walk down a street with me and see my eye wandering, it's likely checking out a bike.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read voraciously (favorites include Borges, Rushdie Pynchon, Mollier, Vollman and of course Joyce)
Music: Dexter Gordon, Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, John Coltrane, Radiohead, Sonic Youth...Nick Drake reminds me of where I grew up
I like film, but always fail to come up with examples, Won Kar Wai blows me away
I would also like to include my two favorite painters: Egon Schiele and Karin Mamma Anderson
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sauna in Finland, Garden Party in Toronto, Cycling Mexico City, Mount Rainier to the beach Seattle.
Teach, Learn, Share
are three verbs seminal to my life.
