ABOUT ME

I am a very independent, sensible, fun-loving and high-spirited female with diverse interests, who knows how to respect people and value relationships. I would like to speak about myself as a person with intellect and drive and a never-dying hunger for knowledge and growth. I believe that life is indeed beautiful and its not just about breathing but living in a true sense!

I would say that though I have my own shortcomings but my biggest strengths are my strong will and my fighter attitude. I'm trying to explore myself with every passing day and one way to do this is to engage in various activities, keeping a positive attitude and an open mind and being sincere towards my dreams. I find this community to be a great platform to interact with interesting people from all over and to enrich my experiences and enhance my knowledge further. Really looking forward to some interesting encounters with all you wonderful people out there.

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe in one quote I had read a long time back, "Anything that doesnt kill you only makes you stronger". I have had countless experiences in my life, some happy and some really devastating but I have been a fighter and what has kept me going is my will to survive and grow. No matter what I do, my main objective in life is to grow as a person, to add value to my life in whichever way possible. I know life is not just one happy story and no matter how strong you are and how hard you try, there will be times when you'll feel broken and lost. But I have experienced that its when you overcome these challenges life throws at you, that is when you grow wiser and discover a new strength in you which you had never known before and begin to value life and live in its true sense.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host people whenever its possible and convenient for me and also show them around the city and make their stay memorable. Also I'd like to travel and visit people in different parts of the world, stay with them and explore their cities and culture with their guidance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this community and havent had any experiences as of date but am really excited and looking forward to have some amazing experiences in the future, both as a host and a guest!

Music, Movies, and Books

God has created so many wonderful things in the world, so much to see and so much to explore! However, in my opinion, books, music and movies are the three best things created by humans! I'm an avid reader, a huge movie buff and enjoy listening to various genres of music depending on my mood.

Fav Authors: Somerset Maugham, PG Wodehouse; Fav Book: The Razor's Edge.

Fav Movies : There are plenty to name but some of my all time favourites are The Shawshank Redemption, A Few Good Men, Top Gun, Cindrella Man, Forrest Gump, Notting Hill... And the list goes on and on!

Fav Music: Enjoy all kinds of music from the old classics to pop, hip-hop and even rock at times!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It has to be skydiving! I'm a qualified skydiver and it is one of the things I am extremely passionate about. The experience is something which is inexplicable in words, I can only tell you that it is the closest I felt to Nirvana :) Vast open

Teach, Learn, Share

I could introduce you to various adventure sports, share my knowledge about books, movies and music, introduce you to theatre in Delhi, give you a sense of what the culture is like in India in general and Delhi in particular, teach you to cook Indian cuisine if interested and more so I can assure you to do my best for you to have a great time when you visit Delhi.

I would like to learn about the countries and cities or towns you come from, the culture, the heritage, the people, the food, the stories etc etc. I would also like to know of your travel experiences and any other interests you could introduce me to. I would be extremely happy if we could have a good time talking about random topics , some meaningful, some serious and some light and meaningless as well whilst we are exploring the city.
