Overview
About Me
I am a master's student in Europe (originally from India) whose interests include climate change, different cultures and languages, food, art and political discussions. I like to think I am a non-intrusive guest who respects her hosts' space, but I might be a little too curious when it comes to your libraries!
Formerly an ESL teacher in Sri Lanka, I love foreign languages and picking up phrases wherever I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet different people and learn about cultural differences, their narratives and what drives them. I think people are amazing and there are so many things we can learn from each other, even if it is only a different way of brewing coffee. Having been an immigrant in many countries (three and counting!), I like sharing stories of my 'cultural faux-pas's, but then again, you live and learn!
