ABOUT ME

I am a very social open person who aims to make people laugh and have good time.
I love getting together with a bunch of people, cooking, eating, drinking, playing games and having fun.
I work as a freelance science communicator and educator in Break it Down, helping researchers and companies communicate their science to broad audiences. I co-founded ReaGent, which is a community open diy biolab and Ekoli, which brings biosciences workshops to classes, children, teachers and underprivileged groups.

PHILOSOPHY

This is always a tough one too write down. But I'll summarize in one word: "Do."
If you decide to come over, you can see for yourself how my attitude towards life takes form.
A personal philosophy has to be experienced by one and other.

I try to read here and there, science fiction and comedy as well as science and cinema non fuctio'fiction.
Movies and music waaaaay too much to type, but I'll gladly discuss this when you come over!
In general I listen to rock, bands from the dawn of it, till now, but I have a very deep love for post rock and it's cousins.
And I can like any sort of movie, as long as it has an effect on me (from inspiring to making me laugh till I nearly choke, to getting me sick (pretty hard though)).

Snowboarding in the mountains in real snow (Two things less easily found in Belgium and going to Finland (I've been a huge fan of Scandinavia for as long I can remember).
Also, this one time, I caught a peanut, previously thrown very high, with my mouth.

I want to teach and learn about live, not in the student-teacher kind of way, but by sharing stories.
Everything we have encountered in live holds within a valuable lesson and these lessons deserve to be spread through nostalgic, honest and fun storytelling.

I can also teach you how to train your dragon, using some interesting audio-visual material.
