One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Senegal 2015, with 3 of my friends we were invited in a case.. Particular home of traditional people there. Once we visited the village the Imam started blessing us because of what we were doing here, helping them by rebuilding the village's school. Than he presented us a man, Babacar. Babacar was a single 31 years old man. He had nothing and was cleaning every day the village of massive trash, cans, plastic bags and bottles that were arriving from the sea. Every morning he was waking up at 5 am in the morning to do this, because for him this was making a difference. We helped him sometimes when we could. One day we learned that the strengh, his conviction that was pushing him to fight the massive hurricane of trash everyday was because he had lost in wife and child. Who both died at the childs birth. His little brother died from paludism. The anger, sadness he feeled, he was using it to change things at his way. Today, this is still the lesson of my life.
