I’m Niels, 21 years old and living in Amsterdam. I love exploring the world while travelling, or having a good time at home in Amsterdam with my friends, doing sports, meeting people and just having a good time together.

It’s weird to write about myself! What can I say? People are too complex to describe in a couple of paragraphs. But since you’re going to stay with me or I’m going to stay with you, I can at least try.

I love good conversations and experiences. I can be happy walking alone, or being part of a big group. Meditating or partying, sitting in the cafe with a cup of coffee the whole day or hiking from sunrise until sunset, I like it as diverse as it gets!

I am also very interested in life, in all its complexity. I believe that openness and authenticity are the way to go and therefore I always try to express myself and my feelings, and I believe everyone may do just that. Just be with what you are, and hold space for that. That way you can be a kind person for yourself and those around you. I guess you could just call me open-minded?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked through the Himalaya mountains and through the desert, I did a Vipassana meditation and I worked at 100 different restaurants in Amsterdam as a freelancer.

My good energy, all my knowledge and my helpfulness. I like to help wherever I can!

I can cook a lot of dishes with many, diverse ingredients. I wouldn’t say I’m the best cook, but I cook healthy and creatively with a lot of fresh vegetables.

I am a huge travelling fan, so we can talk about our beautiful world and its many fascinating people and places.

I like being active in any way. We can do sports together, or go hiking or biking wherever it’s nice. I’m from the Netherlands, so give me a bike and I will be happy (and gone).
