ABOUT ME

I am a fun and easy going person. As a guest I always try to be polite polite and helpful. Above all, I like for everyone to be having a good time. If you let me stay at your place or if you stay with me I am sure we will be friends by the time it's over.

I'm from Hawaii, but I've been going to school in Redlands, California for the last four years. I am now one month from graduation. My best friends and I are moving to Portland, Oregon in June of 2012. We will probably be looking for some couches to surf for a bit while we get settled. We are excellent house guests.

So far I have couch surfed once. It was a great experience and I had an amazing time! I look forward to surfing again, and eventually hosting once I get settled somewhere.

Interests

I enjoy playing the guitar, taking road trips with friends, and getting into adventures. I like to keep up with current events as much as possible. I am just finishing up one degree in economics and another in sociology, and I am obviously very interested in those fields.

So if you are looking for someone to show up with a car full of friends, play you a song on the guitar, have discussions about current events, frame those events within a larger economic and social context, all well finding fun adventures/trouble to get into, then I am most certainly the guest for you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen some amazing things hiking through valleys on Kauai and in mountains in Norway. I live finding new places to explore.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been playing the guitar for a while. I can play for you if you have one, or teach you a few easy songs.

Cameron is a great chef. He can prepare fantastic meals for all of us, and would be willing to give some tips on cooking.

Shaun can teach you new and interesting ways to use the English language, including all of the best swear words.

We are all well read and love having discussions about music, books, or anything else.
