ABOUT ME

My husband David and I are both genuine, fun, friendly, and kind people. We enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, camping and sailing. We love taking road trips and back-pack camping in national forests. We try to travel as much as we can, and I hope, hope, HOPE we can travel out of the country some day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

David and I enjoy meeting new and interesting people, so couchsurfing is great for us. We hosted regularly when we lived in Boulder, CO and met so many interesting people and made some great friends. Since moving back to Wisconsin, we have not had as much of a chance to host (less travelers passing through), but we try to couch surf when we travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a ton of couchsurfers from all over the world; U.S., England, Austria, Chili, China, Israel, just to name a few. When we were living in Boulder, CO we would often have a couchsurfer almost every week! We love learning about new cultures and different view points. We are now living out in Wisconsin farm country, but we hope to still get a few surfers passing through. : )

Interests

I am a life-long fan of music. I enjoy listening as well as creating. I sing, play guitar and bass, play a mean tambourine...and don't underestimate my mad kazoo skills.

I also love art and enjoy painting in my free time. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the solar eclipse of 2017 we back-pack camped for 5 days in Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. The total eclipse was the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life. It was beyond words.

I love discussing art, music, literature, life...I am a very open person, and I love meeting new people and learning new things.
