ABOUT ME

Hello anyone! My name is Nienke and I live in the Netherlands.
I have also lived in other countries, like Oklahoma - USA. I was an exchange student and I went to a High School there for a year at the age of 17. This is where I met Shelby and where we became friends. We stayed in touch by mailing and Skyping and now, 3 years later, she is coming over to Europe!! :)
I also stayed in Belgium as an exchange student with the Erasmus program, which was really nice. I stayed 5 months in the city Gent.
I traveled some with my family (parents + 2 brothers and a younger sister) and with friends, but there are so many more places and countries I would like to visit!
I consider myself as happy, optimistic and sometimes clumsy. I really like hanging out with people who are also happy and enjoy life.
I am in my third year (out of four) of becoming a nurse.

A friend told me about this website and she had very good experiences and I think this is a real nice way to visit a city and get to know new people!

Interests

I like to watch some movies, travel and jogging. But there are so many more things I would like to do in my life: become an international nurse, travel to different countries as an international nurse, get my driving licence, learn how to surf, play either the piano or guitar, learn how to speak French and Spain. And this is just some.

I like rock music (bands) and easy going music (Norah Jones etc.)
The best book I read was the kite runner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
