About Me
Hi, I'm Aleksandra :) I study Political Science at the University of Turku and I live near the centre with my partner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far I've only hosted, but I hope I'll get a chance to surf at some point as well :) I like meeting open minded people that are interested in some of the same things I am. I cancel most requests that seem copy pasted. I'm much more likely to host you if you tell me why my profile made you think we'd get along or what you would like to do together in Turku etc.
Interests
I love tea. I enjoy cooking (more importantly eating) and I especially like cooking for/with other people. I like spending time in nature and camping but I don't get to do those nearly as much as I'd like to. Geocaching is also fun.
I love knitting and crocheting. A huge knitted afghan I made a couple years ago is one of the things I'm most proud of; usually I'm not patient enough for big projects.
The perfect night for me consists of Netflix and a glass of red wine (*ahem*maybe a bottle..)
I'm also vegan and spend a lot of time doing volunteer work for an animal rights organization.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think randomly going on a 6-day canoeing/camping trip (we paddled 70 km) was pretty cool, because I had never canoed before that. :)
Also a pretty spontaneous trip to Costa Rica was an amazing experience.
