ABOUT ME

We've been married for three years and spent the last year traveling, including wwoofing and couchsurfing in New Zealand and studying Spanish and volunteering in Guatemala. We just re-settled in Seattle, Washington where Matt is starting graduate school at UW and Elise is teaching Spanish, enviro education, and yoga.

Interests

hiking, camping, canoeing, or anything in the outdoors really, getting our hands dirty, growing food, sustainable living skills, bioregionalism and permaculture, poetry and good books, guitar-playing, singing, playing scrabble, building boats, wood carving, environmental issues.
