About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've been settled back into L.A. life for a minute or two now, and I'm getting itchy again. Time to see the world! As diverse as L.A. is, this place is a bubble, dude.

ABOUT ME

I was born in SoCal, but grew up as an expat americano in Mexico, so you could say I was born to travel. I certainly have followed through! As soon as I saved up enough money I studied abroad in Rome after falling in love with Italy on a trip there the year prior. I did the Western Europe backpacker thing and grew exponentially. After than I took off to East Africa, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and after getting "stranded" in Thailand I venture west via India, Turkey, and Germany. I've tended to stay in countries for an average of 2 months. Gotta soak it up, baby!

PHILOSOPHY

Act like an adult, think like a child, feel like youre alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have mostly hosted and love it! Looking forward to meeting more like-minded people as a surfer. I did a lot of surfing, but not all of is via CS.com. Hosted in L.A., Thailand, and India, and surfed in India, Germany, Mexico, and DC, and New York. It's been awesome! Cant wait to have a bigger place again to host more like-minded travel junkies.

Interests

Documentary filmmmaking, travel photography, nature, international development, reclaimed wood furniture, chatting up strangers, and dancing in public.

Music, Movies, and Books

Infidel, Lucius, The Little Price, Apothecary (that's what I always seem to call the Alchemist), Erykah Badu, John Legend, Aretha Franklin's under-appreciated 80s jams, anything from the 70s or 90s,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Someone saw my aura once. It was green. Shooting a doc in Kenya, seeing the crossing of the wildebeest, meeting a monk in a cave to talk about the most important message you has (hint: don't kill bugs). Too many more to list.
