Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling, I prefer to surf and use hangouts so I can create a more solid connection to the destination by connecting with folks to experience the area through a local's perspective or to share experiences with fellow travelers. I end up seeing parts of a place I never would have otherwise.

I host to give back to the community that has welcomed me, to share my home with travelers and help them have an insider's perspective to the city in which I'm living

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I kayaked amongst a pod of orcas, crawled through deep caves to check out glow worms, drove motor bikes through Vietnamese mountains and down Chinese country lanes, dove with sharks.... there's been many cool moments in this life

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun conversation and some good stories. I'm always happy to cook a (vegan) meal for my host or buy them one if they show me their favorite restaurant. Helping with house work is also always on the table
