ABOUT ME

Hello, CS! I'm an avid fan of the outdoors, quality/goofy discussions, and dancing. I'm an activist and I play rugby. I move around a lot, and collect experiences. Grew up in Chicago, currently working remotely in Lisbon for as long as the pandemic keeps my office closed (in Sarajevo). Very laid back traveler and host.

Not able to host while in Lisbon, just looking to meet up and spend time with people around the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling, I prefer to surf so I can create a more solid connection to the destination by meeting people and getting to experience the area through a local's perspective. I end up seeing parts of a place I never would have otherwise.
I host to give back to the community that has welcomed me, to share my home with travelers and help them have an insider's perspective to the city in which I'm living

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I kayaked amongst a pod of orcas, crawled through deep caves to check out glow worms, drove motor bikes through Vietnamese mountains and down Chinese country lanes, dove with sharks.... there's been many cool moments in this life

Teach: Rugby rules, global politics, random history, trivia facts
Learn: I'd love to learn to climb, just started getting in to bouldering. Open to learning any new trades or fun facts

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun conversation and some good stories. I'm always happy to cook a (vegan) meal for my host or buy them one if they show me their favorite restaurant. Helping with house work is also always on the table
