ABOUT ME

I'm currently a student of the Interdisciplinary Humanities Studies at Jagiellonian University, Cracow. Very optimistic, open-minded, who finally has a chance to see the world in it's beauty :D.
I grew up in Koszalin, near the baltic sea. I'm an only child in the family. Now I'm living 600 km to the south (and because of that, my journey back home takes me about 12h - a little horror).
You might say I'm a dreamer, believing that all people are good by nature, that my future will get as good as it can. I think of myself as a creative person, having hundreds of more or less crazy ideas, which I try to 'make happened'. That is why I would want to try myself as copywriter in an advertising agency, besides becoming a scientist :D.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a Roman catholic, and I guess that's what describes my philosophy the best. As st. Augustine of Hippo once said "Love, and do what thou wilt".

In this moment there isn't much I can do. These are my baby steps in the CS community. As soon as I will get around, I'll do my best to help the project to grow.

Interests

I guess I'm more of a scientist type, being fascinated by math, physics and so on, including psychology, neurology and philosophy, which I am studying right now. Humanities are also interesting. Especially literature is what I'm keen on. I had a short 2-year romance with the japan studies, but for now we are in a separation :). Still I have hope that in the future I will have a chance to finish those studies.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I was younger, I read tons of books, all sorts. Nowadays, when I'm studying, it is very hard to find the time to read something that is not connected with science (but do not get me wrong, I enjoy this literature as well). If I had to name my favorite writers, I guess it would be Murakami Haruki, J.R.R. Tolkien, H.P. Lovecraft, P. Dick, S. Lem, A. Sapkowski, M. Bułhakow and many more.
As it goes for music, I'm closest to rock and metal fans, but still I find folk music (especially celtic, balkan and asian) amusing, some jazz and now I'm exploring the unknown regions of ambient, post-rock, trip-hop, electronic and all around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing, simply nothing. That is also the reason I want to journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know this and that, but it is only theory. Now I want to get into practice. I also consider myself as specialist in pop-culture, if You are interested in that sort of knowledge :D.
