ABOUT ME

I'm full of contradictions - I like being in motion and noisless moments as well.
I'm kind of person who 'wants to be everywhere', but generally I feel way better surrounded by the nature than in the cities. There would be a long list of reasons pushing me towards traveling, but probably essential is discovering and experiencing diversities - on this occassion I can figure out which aspects - as for as strange creatures called humans (:P) are concerned - are universal and which just depend on point of reference. So that I like visiting not only places which are publicly claimed to be beautiful, but all that are thought-provoking ...

I am a social worker, currently working as a kindergarten teacher :)

PHILOSOPHY

I like the idea of hedonism but in its utilitarianism version by philosophists J.Bentham and J.Mills which says that the general hapiness principle is 'the greatest good for the greatest number of sentient beings'. I think also that this world would be better if we obey I.Kant's 'Categorical Imperative', so I try to treat the others in a way I would like them to treat me...

I'm afraid that we've only one life so we should be humble and derive from it as much as we can.

Interests

I'm addicted to the mountains (trekking, skiing - that's my tranquillizer), running (the best opportunity for systhematic conscience searching ... or singing when nobody hears you :P), music (I live with the music in the background, it happens that I even brush my teeth with mp3 player, but irrespective of it I really can appreciate the value of silence!), my friends and coffe! (wanna join for a drink?)
I studied social readaptation and I didn't choose my study by chance - I'm really keen on working with 'difficult cases', especially with youth.
I learn playing guitar recently - I would be happy if you may help me:)

Music, Movies, and Books

First of all music - also here I like to be a tourist and despite of having my fav kinds I'm used to ramble towards novelties. Definitely I love rock, (no.1 is TooL!)and also reggae, trip-hop, ethno and this everlasting happy hippie style! :D

Books - I can read everything which falls in my hands, but my favourite is science fiction - an attractive vehicle for problems of contemporary civilisation. Here on the top is S.Lem, A.Huxley, T.Pratchett...

Movies - there is no rule, it just depends on mood, but among these I like coming back to are: Persepolis, Baraka, King Lines, Fight Club, Kontroll, City of God and this 'boring' movies like: Out of Africa, Green Fried Potatoes, Donnie Darko or Kitchen Stories.I like czech humour...but I didn't like Avatar! hahaha Did You?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in Himalaya, diving in Red Sea and all the sunsets on the desert...
